\n Moors Manor Care Home in St Leonards will host a summer fete on Wednesday, August 12.\n<\/p>\n
\n The event will feature live music, entertainment, a barbecue, and a variety of stalls.\n<\/p>\n
\n Adele Stacey, deputy manager at Moors Manor, said: “Our residents love any excuse for a get-together, so when we told them we were going to have a summer fete, they couldn\u2019t wait to help staff organise it.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Our staff are dedicated to making sure our residents continue to enjoy their home along with family and friends, and that the home is a hub of the local community.\n<\/p>\n
\n “If you are interested in running a stall, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities, tailored to all residents\u2019 interests and abilities.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We also encourage family and friends to take part in many of our activities, especially prepared by our own dedicated Activities Co-ordinator.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n The event will include a tombola and a raffle, with all proceeds going to Lewis-Manning Hospice.\n<\/p>\n
