{"id":726627,"date":"2026-08-03T23:08:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T23:08:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/726627\/"},"modified":"2026-08-03T23:08:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T23:08:14","slug":"overton-photographic-club-collection-at-scarecrow-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/726627\/","title":{"rendered":"Overton Photographic Club collection at Scarecrow Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.andoveradvertiser.co.uk\/news\/whitchurch_overton\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Overton<\/a> Photographic Club displayed more than 50 prints by 15 members at the recent Scarecrow Festival.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The collection included a wide variety of work, from wildlife photography, local scenes, underwater images and drone photography to surreal pictures created using intentional camera movement.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The club also held a prize draw, offering winners the choice of either a studio photo shoot with professional photographer Mark O\u2019Leary or a print of their choice from the exhibition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>A visitor buys a winning ticket in the prize draw. (Image: Overton Photographic Club)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  DJ Rob Francis drew the winning tickets, and the winners selected their prints as a keepsake from the festival.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The prints selected by the winners were Prints selected by prize draw winners Spaghetti Junction by Peter Silverwood; Dropping the Spinnaker by Tony Coombes; Gorilla Watching Me by Roger Chung and Hartland Point by Ian Robertson.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Photographic club&#8217;s new season begins in September, and further details can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/overtonphoto.club\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">overtonphoto.club<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Overton Photographic Club displayed more than 50 prints by 15 members at the recent Scarecrow Festival.
