Simon Kinberg has a particularly interesting career in Hollywood full of ups and downs. While he has had successes as a writer with the X-Men: Days of Future Past, he has also had disappointments like X-Men: The Last Stand, Fant4stic, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix. As a producer, he\u2019s also helped realize the vision needed to get the first two\u00a0Deadpool movies off the ground, along with the critically-acclaimed\u00a0Logan and (outside the realm of Marvel) The Martian. In terms of\u00a0Star Wars, however, he\u2019s had more consistent success \u2013 aside from helping get the $2B movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens off the ground with an early treatment for its script, he wrote and co-wrote many of the most important episodes of Star Wars Rebels, and was helpful enough in getting the franchise back off the ground after a decade of dormancy on film that he got some \u201cSpecial Thanks\u201d credits in both The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.<\/p>\n
