but not for the reason golfers would think.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The post said: &#8220;Drought conditions throw up unexpected but comprehensible problems\u2026Badgers, looking for food.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;A freshly watered green provides rich pickings.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;This wasn\u2019t a good morning \u2026.third green.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Clare Park Lake Golf Course has faced problems after the drought (Image: Clare Park Lake Golf Course)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Susan Moore, who has owned the course for 33 years, said finding the green in that state filled her with &#8220;dread&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;The green is my livelihood, all I can do is keep my greens green,&#8221; she continued.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  After finding the trail of destruction left by the badgers hunting for food she got to work filling the holes to make sure that golfers could still make the most of the day.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Susan Moore, owner of the course, managed to patch up the damage (Image: Clare Park Lake Golf Course)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;You just have to adapt,&#8221; she added.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;We&#8217;ve faced Covid and having to close the tearoom, we&#8217;ve faced the cost of living crisis and now the residents on the hunt for food is just something else we adapt to.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Ms Moore has kept her 9-hole green going with an aim to &#8220;break down barriers&#8221;
