\n Some English viewers took to social media to say they couldn’t understand what she was saying, blaming Ralston\u2019s \u201cScottish accent\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n The BBC has said that a \u201ctechnical issue\u201d caused the audio levels on the presenter\u2019s summaries to be lower than intended.\n<\/p>\n
\n READ MORE: BBC blasted for defying experts on GERS and Scottish independence<\/a>\n<\/p>\n \n Some viewers did say they thought there were issues with her microphone.\n<\/p>\n \n A BBC spokesperson said: \u201cWe received complaints regarding the audio quality during weather forecasts presented by Judith Ralston.\n<\/p>\n \n “Unfortunately, a technical issue affected some of Judith Ralston\u2019s weather forecasts during the first week of August, causing the audio levels to be lower than intended.\n<\/p>\n \n \u201cWe apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and are pleased to confirm that the issue has now been fully resolved.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \n After one of Ralston\u2019s broadcasts, one viewer wrote on X: \u201cThis new presenter on screens in England is terrible. She mumbles, is quiet, has a hard accent to always understand, not the best qualities for the job.”\n<\/p>\n
