Rylan Clark<\/a> has paid tribute to Tulisa Contostavlos<\/a> following the release of her tell-all memoir.<\/p>\n Former X-Factor judge and N-Dubz<\/a> star Tulisa, real name Tula Paulinea Contostavlos, released her memoir, Judgement: Love, Trials and Tribulations, this month.<\/p>\n In the book, the I\u2019m A Celebrity star<\/a>, 37, opens up about the pain of having a sex tape leaked<\/a> and being wrongly accused of drug dealing.<\/p>\n She also reveals how she twice attempted to take her own life while standing trial for the drugs allegations.<\/p>\n The case was dismissed from court in 2014, when prosecution witness and \u2018fake sheikh\u2019 journalist Mazher Mahmood was found to have tampered with evidence<\/a>.<\/p>\n Celebrity pal Rylan, 36, has paid tribute to Tulisa\u2019s journey, writing how \u2018it\u2019s time to know the truth\u2019 about his friend and fellow X-Factor star.<\/p>\n \t\t Taking to Instagram, Rylan shared an image of himself with Tulisa, writing in the caption: \u2018Never been prouder @tulisacontostavlos.\u2019<\/p>\n He continued: \u2018From 2012 to now we\u2019ve been through a lot and I\u2019m so proud we stayed by each others side. Now it\u2019s time for everyone to know your truth.<\/p>\n \u2018We\u2019ve never publicised it, we\u2019ve just been there for each other. I\u2019m so happy your words will now be heard by everyone. Tulisa\u2019s book Judgement is out now x #Day1.\u2019<\/p>\n In the comments below Rylan\u2019s post, Tulisa wrote: \u2018Love you will [sic] all my heart you beautiful earth angel.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Tulisa first rose to fame as a member of hip-hop trio N-Dubz, alongside Dappy and Fazer.<\/p>\n After releasing smash hits Number 1, I Need You and Playing With Fire, Tulisa served as a judge on X-Factor between 2011 and 2012.<\/p>\n However, her career took a devastating turn when ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards allegedly released a seven-minute sex tape of her online.<\/p>\n \t\t In the book, Tulisa has opened up about what she describes as her \u2018year from hell.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018When the sex tape had come out, I had slept on the bathroom floor for five days,\u2019 Tulisa wrote.<\/p>\n Revenge porn, at the time, was not illegal, and all Tulisa received from ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards was \u2018sincere apologies,\u2019 via London\u2019s High Court.<\/p>\n \t\t After the case was closed, Tulisa said: \u2018I am relieved that this is finally over. It has been a very testing few months and this was not a case I ever wanted to go through.<\/p>\n \u2018I stand here today a stronger, wiser young woman who has taken this experience and learnt from it. I am disgusted by Justin and saddened by the people that believed I released the footage myself.\u2019<\/p>\n Her lawyer made clear this was \u2018not the case\u2019 and called the ordeal \u2018the most severe invasion of privacy imaginable\u2019.<\/p>\n \t\t During her trial the following year \u2013 in which she was accused of supplying Class A drugs \u2013 Tulisa was found unconscious in the bathroom.<\/p>\n \u2018What\u2019s the point in being alive just to be miserable?\u2019 she wrote. \u2018How am I ever going to find happiness after this? Even if I\u2019m found innocent, I\u2019ll be empty inside by the time I get to the end of it, and my life will be ruined.\u2019<\/p>\n She was revived but, months later, attempted to take her own life for a second time.<\/p>\n She was arrested after an elaborate sting operation and denied the charges. <\/p>\n The case collapsed after the judge believed the prosecution\u2019s witness to have lied in court.
