Chelsea<\/a> have told Manchester City<\/a> that they have until 5pm today to submit a bid for midfielder Enzo Fernandez<\/a>. The Blues have informed their Premier League rivals that they will need to sepnd \u00a3120m to sign the Argentina though City had hoped to negotiate on the price. <\/p>\n

City, meanwhile, remain in talks with Barcelona<\/a> over Rodri<\/a>, who is available for \u00a360m. The club have rejected two previous bids for the former Ballon d\u2019Or winner but talks are ongoing. City are also interested in signing World Cup breakout star Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille while Savinho is moving closer to leaving the Etihad for Tottenham <\/a>in a \u00a365m deal though. <\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta<\/a> has said that Arsenal<\/a>\u2019s business is not done yet, with the Gunners receiving interest in Gabriel Martinelli from Galatasaray. The availability of Victor Osimhen has been raised in those talks, although Arsenal have also been linked with moves for Atletico Madrid\u2019s Julian Alvarez<\/a> and Paris Saint-Germain<\/a>\u2019s Bradley Barcola. <\/p>\n

Barcola also leads Liverpool<\/a>\u2019s list of transfer targets and the Reds are in talks with PSG over a fee, though the European champions are demanding \u00a3145m to sell the winger. PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi did not rule out an exit for Barcola, however, saying: \u201cWe\u2019re working calmly, we don\u2019t talk too much. I can\u2019t say whether he will leave or not. Today, he is a PSG player. We\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kalvin Phillips is back at Sheffield United on a season-long loan.<\/p>\n

The Manchester City midfielder joined the Blades on loan in February but played only three games before suffering a knee injury, while he was also sent off in the derby against Sheffield Wednesday.<\/p>\n

His statement on the club website read: \u201cThis was the move I wanted. My time was spoiled by my last game and the injury after that so I’m here to put that right.<\/p>\n

Former Liverpool head coach Arne Slot walked away from talks about becoming the new Netherlands boss as he wants to remain in club football.<\/p>\n

The Dutchman was sacked in May, 12 months after winning the Premier League, following a disappointing title defence that saw them finish fifth.<\/p>\n

Slot was linked with taking over from Ronald Koeman, who resigned after their World Cup last-32 exit to Morocco, but did not get beyond an initial approach.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Chelsea confirm Filip Jorgensen loan deal<\/p>\n

Chelsea have confirmed the season-long loan of keeper Filip Jorgensen to sister club Strasbourg, in yet another move between the two sides.<\/p>\n

The Dane\u2019s opportunities have been limited in his two years at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

A club statement read: \u201cJorgensen was a key member of the Chelsea side that lifted the UEFA Conference League in May 2025, starting all but one game in the competition. The Denmark international became a Club World Cup winner later that summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cJorgensen featured 12 times last season across four different competitions, playing his part as we reached the semi-finals of both domestic cups.<\/p>\n

He reports talks are in \u2018final stages\u2019 and that the winger is not scheduled to turn up for Barca training, with a deal expected to be finalised following PSG\u2019s Super Cup victory over Aston Villa on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

A deal in principle has been agreed by both clubs with a price of \u20ac50m (\u00a342.7m).<\/p>\n
