Elise Chabbey has been a key component in the FDJ-Suez corps of climbers and super-domestiques since the team\u2019s overhaul this past winter. Now, two weeks after taking home the polka-dot jersey from the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Chabbey has won the first GC title of her career at the Tour de Romandie F\u00e9minin, taking her maiden WorldTour stage win along the way.<\/p>\n

And she\u2019s done it all at her home race.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Tour de Romandie F\u00e9minin got underway with a dark cloud looming overhead after the last-minute disqualification of five top teams by the UCI<\/a>. In the absence of Lidl-Trek, Visma-Lease a Bike, Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto, EF Education-Oatly and Picnic PostNL, only 63 riders started stage 1.<\/p>\n

FDJ-Suez itself had also been dealt with misfortune after team leader Demi Vollering pulled out due to illness, leaving just a five-strong lineup for the Swiss WorldTour race, but with home favourite Chabbey and Juliette Labous among them, the French squad remained top favourites for each stage and the overall title.<\/p>\n
