{"id":741859,"date":"2026-08-18T12:56:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-18T12:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/741859\/"},"modified":"2026-08-18T12:56:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T12:56:10","slug":"carl-froch-predicts-prime-david-haye-vs-daniel-dubois-he-beats-him-every-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/741859\/","title":{"rendered":"Carl Froch predicts prime David Haye vs Daniel Dubois: &#8220;He beats him every day\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/daniel-dubois\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Daniel Dubois<\/a> became the UK\u2019s latest two-time heavyweight ruler when he halted Fabio Wardley back in May, and now four-time super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch has predicted how the 28-year-old would fare against a prime <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/david-haye\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Haye<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, Dubois stopped Filip Hrgovic to get his hands on the IBF Interim world title, but he was elevated to full world champion soon after and made an <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/news\/daniel-dubois-stuns-anthony-joshua-with-fifth-round-knockout\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">emphatic first defence against Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The following year, Oleksandr Usyk reclaimed the IBF title as he knocked Dubois out for a second time, only for \u2018Triple D\u2019 to bounce back and regain the heavyweight throne by dispatching of Wardley upon his return.<\/p>\n<p>Dubois is now hoping for a more significant reign as champion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sport\/boxing\/articles\/cgep2g4dgvwo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">which will begin with a rematch against Wardley<\/a> later this year in what he hopes will be the second successful world title defence of his career.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, after dethroning Nikolai Valuev in 2009, Haye went on to only defend his WBA heavyweight world title on two occasions before suffering a defeat to Wladimir Klitschko, with the Brit\u2019s best years arguably coming in his cruiserweight days.<\/p>\n<p>Still, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@frochonfighting\/video\/7672888576597560598?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Froch told his TikTok channel<\/a> that he would favour the \u2018Hayemaker\u2019 to come out on top against Dubois, despite their discrepancy in size.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it is prime versus prime, as long as Haye don\u2019t walk into a shot, David Haye beats him [Dubois].
