{"id":742901,"date":"2026-08-19T11:40:21","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T11:40:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/742901\/"},"modified":"2026-08-19T11:40:21","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T11:40:21","slug":"aussie-stars-xi-to-take-on-all-star-xi-in-blackburn-showdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/742901\/","title":{"rendered":"Aussie star&#8217;s XI to take on all-star XI in Blackburn showdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  A Hudson Walshaw XI will take an all-star cricketing XI captained by East Lancs professional Amar Ullah.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The free to enter match will take place at Alexandra Meadows, on Dukes Brow on Friday August 21 with a 5.30pm start time.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Hudson returned to Blackburn earlier in the summer and now plays for Cherry Tree.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The game will feature some of the best players from local leagues including: Harry Caton (Ramsbottom CC), Aaron James (Flixton CC Pro), Owen Elwood (Baxenden CC), Ockert Erasmus, (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk\/news\/burnley\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Burnley<\/a> CC Pro), Hassan Fazal, (Nelson CC); Aneeq Hassan (Baxenden CC) and Kamran Basharat (Flixton CC).\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A spokesperson for East Lancs CC said: \u201cIt is great to have Hudson back at the ground again for this exhibition match which was well attended last year.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cSome of the best local cricketers will line up alongside Amar Ullah for an exciting evening of T20 cricket.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cIt is real family event and everyone is invited to watch the best players in local cricket on show.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The match is free and food is available from Smash\u2019em Burger and the Boundary Bar at the club will be open.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A Hudson Walshaw XI will take an all-star cricketing XI captained by East Lancs professional Amar Ullah.
