A new <a href=\"https:\/\/counterpointresearch.com\/en\/insights\/europe-smartphone-shipments-drop-10-percent-yoy-in-q2%202026 \" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">report<\/a> from Counterpoint Research estimates 35 million smartphone shipments for the period, which is a 10% drop from the values seen last year. Factors like spiraling inflation, the Iran conflict and component price hikes all contributed to the three-year low.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"609\" alt=\"Europe Smartphone Shipments Share by OEM, Q2 2025 vs Q2 2026 (Counterpoint Research)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1787303890_314_gsmarena_001.jpg\"\/><br \/>\nEurope Smartphone Shipments Share by OEM, Q2 2025 vs Q2 2026 (Counterpoint Research)<\/p>\n<p>According to Counterpoint\u2019s estimates, Apple and Samsung each contributed 34% of total smartphone shipments in the region. Xiaomi was third with a 15% share, followed by Oppo (including OnePlus and Realme) with 4%, and Honor with a 3% slice.<\/p>\n<p>Shipments in Western Europe were \u201crelatively better\u201d thanks to impressive growth by Apple and marginal gains from Samsung. Eastern Europe fared worse as the budget segment took a downturn.
