Aston Villa have rejected a fourth bid for striker Ollie Watkins from Saudi club Al-Hilal, according to The Telegraph<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Watkins has been identified as Al-Hilal\u2019s top target as they look to replace Karim Benzema and The Telegraph reports that a bid of \u00a345m has been turned down. <\/p>\n

Should Watkins join the Villa Park exodus, with Youri Tielemans, Morgan Rogers and Ezri Konsa all moving on, Unai Emery\u2019s side could revive their interest in Chelsea\u2019s Nicolas Jackson. <\/p>\n

PSG are said to want around \u00a3145m for the 23-year-old, and while Liverpool will not go that high, there is hope at Anfield that a deal could be done at a price closer to \u00a3120m. Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has claimed that the club will \u201cdefinitely sign some players\u201d before the end of the summer transfer window, with the Spaniard admitting his squad is \u201cstill quite thin\u201d in places. <\/p>\n

The departures of Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konate and Curtis Jones \u2013 as well as a long-term injury to Hugo Ekitike \u2013 mean that the Reds are light in some key areas as the 2026\/27 season begins.<\/p>\n

Winger Victor Munoz and defender Ronaldo Araujo have been the only arrivals this summer, though Jeremey Jacquet has also arrived at Anfield after a \u00a355m deal was agreed for the Frenchman back in February. <\/p>\n

And Iraola addressed the need for more arrivals before the end of the window, with the former Bournemouth manager explaining that some deals take longer to complete. \u201cWe will definitely sign some players. Some deals you have to wait until the end,\u201d Iraola told Sky Sports.<\/p>\n
