Shane Fury has admitted that he would not be entirely confident in seeing his brother, Tyson, step through the ropes and face one of boxing\u2019s fastest-rising stars.<\/p>\n
\u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 comes off a seventh-round stoppage of Mariusz Wach<\/a> last month, which followed his unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n In both performances, though, Fury seemed a far cry from the man who delivered a vicious seventh-round finish against Deontay Wilder<\/a> in 2020, for instance.<\/p>\n But of course, it is only natural that the 38-year-old has lost a step or two, especially with the Makhmudov win materialising around 16 months after his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk<\/a>.<\/p>\n Even at this stage in his career, however, Shane remains convinced that his brother has the beating of heavyweights champions Agit Kabayel<\/a> and Daniel Dubois<\/a>.<\/p>\n In fact, the only man he would be apprehensive about sticking him in with is Moses Itauma, who faces Filip Hrgovic at London\u2019s O2 Arena next Saturday.<\/p>\n If he emerges victorious, the 21-year-old will become the youngest world heavyweight champion since Mike Tyson dethroned Trevor Berbick in 1986.<\/p>\n
