I guess you forgot that Vitali lost to Lewis. So he certainly didn’t have his number. That’s also the oldest, least conditioned, version of Lewis.<\/p>\n

Breadman keeps saying that head to head Lennox Lewis is a nightmare for everyone, but I keep remembering the Vitali Klitscko fight. I agree Lennox would trouble everyone else but he retired so he does not have to face Vitali again because Vitali had his number. He was even more physical than Lennox.<\/p>\n

And Dempsey personally drew the colour line, announcing in 1919 that he refused to fight black challengers. And he made several racist statements both before and after his title reign.
