href=\"https:\/\/fintechnews.sg\/tag\/Stripe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Stripe<\/a> has added six Asian payment methods for businesses using its platform, with ShopeePay and SPayLater set to follow across Southeast Asia in Q4 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses can now accept cross-border payments through Samsung Pay, MoMo, GCash, Touch \u2019n Go, PromptPay and TrueMoney.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion comes as Stripe marks 10 years in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>More than 80,000 businesses and sole proprietors in the country now use Stripe, with over six in ten selling internationally.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4qvmpX2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/0508-Webinar-Thunes-600x500-ezgif.com-optimize-2.gif\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" role=\"presentation\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-nosnippet=\"\" data-pin-nopin=\"true\" width=\"600\" height=\"500\"\/><\/a>Businesses Can Sell in 195 Countries Without Local Entities<\/p>\n<p>Stripe has also made <a href=\"https:\/\/stripe.com\/en-my\/managed-payments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Managed Payments<\/a> available to digital businesses selling to customers in 195 countries without establishing local entities.<\/p>\n<p>The service handles indirect taxes, disputes, fraud protection and customer support.<\/p>\n<p>Stripe also routes transactions through its local entities, which the company said can improve payment success rates.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses can use Stripe\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/support.stripe.com\/questions\/adaptive-pricing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Adaptive Pricing<\/a> tool to automatically display prices in customers\u2019 local currencies.<\/p>\n<p>Stripe said the feature produces an average 17.8% uplift in cross-border revenue.<\/p>\n<p>Stripe Treasury Will Arrive in Singapore in 2027<\/p>\n<p>Singapore businesses can currently hold balances in 10 currencies and convert between them instantly.<\/p>\n<p>Stripe plans to launch its full <a href=\"https:\/\/stripe.com\/en-my\/treasury\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Treasury<\/a> service in Singapore in early 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses will be able to spend from their balances and pay suppliers, contractors and other recipients in nearly 100 countries through the Stripe Dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>Recipients can be paid using an email address, while businesses will be able to receive and hold funds in Singapore dollars, US dollars, Australian dollars, British pounds and euros.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
