Iranian state media has claimed there is a $10 million bounty on Barron Trump<\/a>, President Donald Trump\u2019s 20-year-old son, according to a new report nearly six months into the U.S. war with Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Footage broadcast on Channel 3, which is linked to Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was titled \u201cWhere and how should we kill Barron Trump?\u201d Euronews<\/a> reported Monday. <\/p>\n

It reportedly displayed the location of his university, as well as Secret Service<\/a> positions and escort vehicles, while claiming his whereabouts were \u201cfully monitored.\u201d<\/p>\n

The clip also claimed that an unnamed young woman had evaded Secret Service protection, met privately with Barron Trump and relayed information about him to the video\u2019s creators. It also claimed he uses Xbox to communicate privately.<\/p>\n

Euronews reported that it did not independently verify the claims. The Independent has contacted the White House for comment.<\/p>\n

Barron Trump, the president\u2019s youngest son and his only child with First Lady Melania Trump, is a college student. Compared to the president\u2019s other sons, he has kept a relatively low public profile. He has attended some official events, including the president\u2019s UFC cage match at the White House in June and the State of the Union address at the Capitol in February.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time he has been targeted by Iran. Last month, an Iran-linked video threatened both Barron Trump<\/a> and the first lady. The clip, titled \u201cWhere to kill Melania\u201d shows a mock up of the first lady\u2019s motorcade and calls on \u201cfreedom fighters\u201d to take action against her. It concludes with: \u201cBarron Trump, wait for us!\u201d \u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,\u201d an agency spokesperson told Newsweek<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The president also has faced repeated threats from Iran over the years, with U.S. officials warning that Tehran and its proxies could seek retaliation for his 2020 order to kill Iranian General Qassem Soleimani<\/a>. The threats have led to heightened security for Trump and several former members of his administration<\/a>, though Iran has denied plotting to kill him.<\/p>\n

This year, Asif Merchant<\/a>, a Pakistani business owner, was convicted after authorities accused him of working on behalf of Iran with the intention of carrying out assassinations, with Trump being a target. And in 2024, federal authorities charged Farhad Shakeri<\/a>, an Iranian national, with taking instructions to develop a plan to kill Trump. <\/p>\n

Following the outbreak of the U.S.-Iran war, threats have intensified. At a NATO summit last month, Trump reportedly ditched Air Force One and departed Turkey on a military plane amid concerns about threats from Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 80-year-old president has said he has \u201cleft instructions<\/a>\u201d if he is killed by Iran \u201cto just literally bomb them at levels that they\u2019ve never seen before.\u201d<\/p>\n

The newly reported threat against Barron Trump comes as the U.S. war with Iran shows no signs of abating.<\/p>\n

Early in the conflict, U.S. forces killed Iran\u2019s longtime supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei<\/a>, along with multiple other senior officials. Trump has since claimed that so many Iranian leaders have been killed that there is \u201cnobody\u201d left to negotiate with.<\/p>\n

To date, 18 U.S. service members<\/a> have been killed in the war and hundreds more have been wounded, the Pentagon has said. Thousands of Iranians have been killed, according to HRANA, a U.S.-based human rights group.<\/p>\n
