Located opposite the tube station and nestled between Superdrug and Marks & Spencer, Dorrell Place is a short pedestrianised strip which has become a thriving outdoor gallery for street artists in recent years.<\/p>\n

Artworks rarely last long, as artists compete for wall space.<\/p>\n

Dorrell Place also serves as a vast parking spot for hire bikes.<\/p>\n

London Beer Lab supported Brixton Buzz back in the day when we launched our range of beers that raised funds for the Brixton Soup Kitchen.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Sometimes bikes are left strewn all over the pavement.<\/p>\n

Marks & Spencer has some \u2018official\u2019 artwork on its wall.<\/p>\n

This is the sad sight of the former SW9 Bar at the far end of Dorrell Place.<\/p>\n

Once a thriving LGTBQ-friendly bar, they were forced to close down in December 2019<\/a> for a hotel scheme that still hasn\u2019t started \u2013 leaving the place slowly rotting away when it could have stayed open.<\/p>\n
