Katie Taylor is the only female boxer with a resume comparable to Claressa Shields<\/a>, but she doesn’t get the same attention in the United States. <\/p>\n On September 5 that could change. It’s not because Taylor will be trying to become the first fighter to ever become a three-time undisputed champion in the United States; Taylor will attempt to accomplish the goal at Croke Park in her native Ireland. American fans will have no other choice than to pay attention because Taylor’s battle with Flora Pili on Saturday will be the legend’s final fight and it happens on a day when women’s boxing will take center stage. A win makes Taylor undisputed at 140 for a second time and a three-time undisputed champion across two weight divisions.
