{"id":750642,"date":"2026-08-26T19:54:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T19:54:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/750642\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T19:54:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T19:54:14","slug":"xreal-surpasses-10000-reservations-for-aura-smartglasses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/750642\/","title":{"rendered":"Xreal surpasses 10,000 reservations for Aura smartglasses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Xreal is announcing that reservations for <a href=\"https:\/\/mobilesyrup.com\/2026\/05\/22\/project-aura-glasses-are-a-big-step-towards-a-perfect-xr-experience\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Xreal Aura have surpassed 10,000 globally<\/a>, showing that people, besides myself, are very interested in this next-generation of smartglasses.<\/p>\n<p>The initial $99 (C$136) reservation offer for a $199 (C$274) credit at launch has already sold out; however, you can still reserve early access with a US$199 (C$274) deposit.<\/p>\n<p>Xreal is working with Qualcomm on the launch of the Xreal Aura with the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/mobilesyrup.com\/2026\/06\/16\/qualcomm-snapdragon-reality-elite\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Snapdragon Reality Elite platform.<\/a> Xreal is also working with Google using Android XR as the operating system with Google Gemini front and centre.<\/p>\n<p>I tried out the Xreal Aura at Google I\/O earlier this year, and running the Android XR platform with smartglasses felt like the next step in VR\/XR headsets.
