Grooming gang offenders are connected to over 100 convicted organised criminals across the country, new research has revealed.

Independent researchers have uncovered well over 4,000 connections between grooming gang abusers, gangs, families, and notable individuals, including politicians, state employees and businesses.

The research, the first of its kind, has uncovered 99 gangs involving 68 families.

The Network Map has published details of criminal links between grooming offenders, including the Ilyas family in Sheffield.

GB News first revealed earlier this year that a grooming gang offender convicted alongside two of his brothers had wider links to criminality.

Amar Ilyas, who was nicknamed “Killer”, was stabbed in the head by an organised criminal who was later convicted of drug offences.

Detectives in South Yorkshire reviewed the stabbing in relation to a separate shooting in Sheffield.

The People’s Channel also revealed that Amar Ilyas had also been a Labour candidate.

The map also reveals 87 instances of victims being trafficked or perpetrators travelling across the country to carry out abuse.

The Network Map displays 52 routes that the abusers used.

The thesis that the grooming gangs scandal is a nationwide issue has been championed by The People’s Channel, with GB News exposing new areas where abuse has taken place, from the south of England to Scotland.

GB News has also revealed the links between grooming gang abusers and organised crime, particularly the drugs trade and in protection rackets.

That assessment has been reaffirmed by this comprehensive research, which has demonstrated widespread criminal links.

The research has been published as the independent national inquiry into grooming gangs prepares to start investigating its first three areas, which includes London, Bradford and Keighley, and Oldham.

It is understood that GB News reporting on trafficking links between Bradford and London influenced the inquiry’s decision to select those areas.

The People’s Channel had previously revealed that the former safeguarding minister Jess Phillips had rejected a request from Oldham Council for a Government-led inquiry into the town.

The revelation sparked outrage from Elon Musk and critics of the Labour Government.

The inquiry was recommended by Baroness Louise Casey after a government-commissioned audit found there was an “appalling lack of data on ethnicity in crime recording”.

Casey’s report, which included a damning chapter titled “Denial”, outlined how the gangs crisis still had not been confronted nationally.

Following reports of grooming gang activity in Scotland after a brave survivor spoke to GB News, the Scottish Government also announced its own review.

Some of the networks exposed include abusers who targeted campaigning Bradford survivor Fiona Goddard.

Parvaze Ahmed is one of Fiona’s abusers and was a known drug dealer with previous convictions for possession of heroin with intent to supply and possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply.

In transcripts for Fiona’s trial, the court heard that Ahmed is the brother-in-law of “drugs baron” Khalid Malik and uncle of Fahim Iqbal, another abuser who was recently jailed for a machete attack.

Grooming gang offenders are connected to over 100 convicted organised criminals across the country, new research has revealed.…

[3
59,57,58,50,56,54,55
post-752099","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-united-kingdom","tag-gb","tag-great-britain","tag-greatbritain","tag-news","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
