{"id":754139,"date":"2026-08-30T02:32:11","date_gmt":"2026-08-30T02:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/754139\/"},"modified":"2026-08-30T02:32:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-30T02:32:11","slug":"police-issue-appeal-after-pedestrian-dies-in-collision-on-a38-at-brent-knoll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/754139\/","title":{"rendered":"Police issue appeal after pedestrian dies in collision on A38 at Brent Knoll"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police officers who are investigating a fatal collision on the A38 in Brent Knoll on Saturday (29th August) are appealing for witnesses to come forward.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police say they were called by the ambulance service at 5.20am to the collision involving a pedestrian and a white Vauxhall Astra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A spokesman adds: \u201cDespite the best efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.
