I didn\u2019t take art at school as I chose needlework.<\/p>\n
Then, in my 30s, an art group started up in my village. I took along my father\u2019s paints and found I loved painting.<\/p>\n

However, it was only after I retired that I had time to learn more.<\/p>\n
I use pen, watercolour, mixed media and sometimes oil.<\/p>\n
I am particularly drawn to buildings, but I like to try everything – not that it\u2019s always successful.<\/p>\n
