\n After a career spanning almost 20 years in nursing, local healthcare professional Gilly Neary has opened the doors to Holywell Health<\/a> & Wellness, a new nurse-led health and wellbeing clinic offering personalised support to help people take a more proactive approach to their health.\n<\/p>\n

\n Holywell Health & Wellness has been created from Gilly\u2019s passion for helping people not simply manage their health when problems arise, but to understand their bodies, make positive lifestyle changes and feel supported in taking control of their own wellbeing.\n<\/p>\n

\n Gilly, a registered nurse with experience in both acute medicine and mental health, has spent many years caring for people during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. \u00a0Her experience has given her a strong appreciation of the importance of looking at health as a whole.\n<\/p>\n

\n \u201cThroughout my nursing career, I have seen how important it is for people to feel listened to and supported\u201d, she said. \u201cI wanted to create a welcoming space where people can take some time to focus on themselves, their health and their wellbeing before they reach a point of crisis.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n Holywell Health & Wellness offers a range of services designed to support individuals at different stages of life with different health and wellness goals.\n<\/p>\n

\n These include personalised health and wellbeing plans, biometric health screening, nutritional and lifestyle support, individual supplement consultations, gut sensitivity testing, pelvic-floor treatments and wellbeing and skin treatments, incorporating LED light therapy.\n<\/p>\n

\n The clinic takes a personalised and holistic approach, recognising that there is no \u201cone-size-fits-all\u201d solution when it comes to health.\n<\/p>\n

\n Clients are encouraged to consider the wider picture, including lifestyle, nutrition, stress, sleep, movement and their own individual health goals.\n<\/p>\n

\n A particular focus of the clinic is supporting people through midlife and beyond, including those navigating the challenges associated with menopause, ageing, changing lifestyles and maintaining long-term health and independence.\n<\/p>\n

\n Gilly says she is particularly passionate about helping people cut through the often-confusing world of healthcare.\n<\/p>\n

\n \u201cThere is so much information available online about diets, supplements, weight management etc and what we should and shouldn\u2019t be doing for our health that it can become completely overwhelming,” she said.\n<\/p>\n

\n “My aim is to help people make sense of it all and provide practical, individualised support based on their own needs and goals.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n Although Holywell Health & Wellness has only recently opened, Gilly says she has been delighted by the warm welcome and support she has received from the local community.\n<\/p>\n

\n \u201cThe clinic is very much about people and the community,” she said. \u00a0“I am proud to be opening a business locally and I hope Holywell Health & Wellness will become a place where people feel comfortable coming in, asking questions and taking positive steps towards looking after themselves.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n With a combination of professional healthcare experience and a compassionate, person-centred approach, Gilly hopes Holywell Health & Wellness will provide a new local resource for those who want to invest in their health, wellbeing and future. \u00a0\n<\/p>\n
