We could only do this with the support of the people around us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">He said he was lucky enough to have an amazing family, &#8220;but we are also an incredible community&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I realised that maybe, just maybe, we were going to be okay, when we showed that rather than being stopped, we were more together than ever&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Earlier, asked by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b006qj9z\/episodes\/player\" class=\"ssrcss-1e0jzsh-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BBC Radio 4&#8217;s Today<\/a> programme about how the Jewish community in the UK feels almost a year on, he said: &#8220;I don&#8217;t think things feel safer, I think we certainly live behind ever increasing gates, more security than we&#8217;ve ever had.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;Jewish people are having to hide their identity.
