The timing of Callum O’Hare leaving has been horrendous, but that’s a by-product of the transfer window itself, not necessarily anything Sheffield United have or haven’t done.<\/p>\n

I personally think the fees involved are pretty good. It’s just the timing of his departure that is going to irritate fans.<\/p>\n

We can all understand why that might be given his contributions, both in terms of goals and assists over the course of the the past couple of seasons, and the little time it gives to try to find a replacement, which of course Sheffield United are currently trying to do.<\/p>\n

But it follows on from Andre Brooks and Gus Hamer going, so the three most creative players last season are now no longer at the football club.<\/p>\n

There’s an awful lot of pressure on those that have come in to replace them, which at the moment it doesn’t look as though they’re going to do.<\/p>\n

It’s a big loss to lose the three players that have been most likely to get people off their seats at Bramall Lane recently.<\/p>\n

It’ll be fascinating to see if anybody comes in between now and the end of tonight, but they are three huge holes to fill.<\/p>\n
