Rangers have rejected Besiktas\u2019s offer for Nicolas Raskin, STV Sport understands.<\/p>\n

The Turkish side made their approach late on Wednesday night, with their transfer window closing on Friday rather than Thursday for Scottish clubs.<\/p>\n

It is understood that no agreement could be reached between the two clubs.<\/p>\n

The Belgian midfielder sat out Rangers\u2019 last two games after joining the club in January 2023, but is expected to feature in the team\u2019s squad for Wednesday\u2019s match against Falkirk.<\/p>\n

McInnes said about Raskin: \u201cNico\u2019s been first-class since he came back from the World Cup, he\u2019s been good as gold, he\u2019s trained brilliantly.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, there\u2019s been a lot of chat about potential interest, and there\u2019s been a lot of conversations had with the club and prospective buyers. But until an offer comes in that the club need to consider, Nico just has to knuckle down and train.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve no doubts that if the window closes and Nico\u2019s still a Rangers player, he\u2019ll give brilliant service as he\u2019s done previously. He\u2019s getting interest because he\u2019s a good player. I want to work with good players. We just need to wait and see how things develop.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rangers boss Derek McInnes told Sky Sports on Tuesday he expected one more signing in the window, with Venezuelan forward Kevin Kelsy reportedly close to a move.<\/p>\n
