It led to several hit singles including \u2018Fit But You Know It\u2019, \u2018Blinded By The Lights\u2019, and \u2018Dry Your Eyes\u2019, the latter becoming their first and, to date, only number one single.<\/p>\n<p>The album itself also reached number one in the UK, certified four times platinum with over a million copies sold, and is remembered as one of the best albums of the decade, coming in at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/lists\/the-top-100-greatest-albums-of-the-decade-1381\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">number 16 in NME\u2019s list from that period<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This summer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/the-streets-to-play-a-grand-dont-come-for-free-in-full-for-first-time-on-summer-2026-uk-tour-3898314\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Streets played a string of live UK dates where they would perform the album in full<\/a>, with concerts at Dreamland in Margate, London\u2019s Alexandra Palace Park, and Ludlow Castle among others. Following the success of these performances, three further gigs have been announced for November.<\/p>\n<p>A stop at Southend Cliffs Pavilion is followed by a homecoming date at Birmingham\u2019s O2 Academy (their final date in the city this year), with the trio of shows ending at Cardiff Depot.
