The long-awaited Battle of Britain remains unsigned, with Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden emerging as rival venues for a blockbuster fight expected to take place in November.<\/p>\n
Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn have pushed publicly for the contest to be staged in London, with Hearn revealing that talks over a Wembley date had “re-opened”.<\/p>\n
But Fury has now questioned his rival’s patriotic stance by revisiting Joshua’s controversial appearance at a Black Lives Matter protest in Watford in 2020.<\/p>\n
During that event, Joshua read a speech written by a friend which encouraged people to invest in black-owned businesses and abstain from spending money in white-owned shops.<\/p>\n
His remarks generated a backlash at the time, although the former world champion subsequently insisted the speech had been taken out of context and denied being racist.<\/p>\n
Fury shared footage from the protest on social media and wrote: “This is the man who loves England,” before adding a string of insults and highlighting Joshua’s move to Dubai.<\/p>\n

The Gypsy King then posted a furious video accusing Joshua’s camp of attempting to blame him for the dispute over where the fight should be held.<\/p>\n
Fury insisted that the decision rests with Netflix and Saudi boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh, who are expected to provide the financial backing for the event.<\/p>\n
“Tyson is not in charge of this fight. Tyson didn’t put the money up for this fight. Tyson is not the paymaster,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Netflix are and Turki Al-Sheikh. Lovely. If it’s in England, even better. I’ll knock the motherf****r out even quicker.”<\/p>\n
Fury claimed he would relish a prime-time clash before 100,000 supporters at Wembley and branded Joshua a “coward” during an expletive-laden tirade.<\/p>\n
He also referenced Joshua’s crushing 2024 defeat by Daniel Dubois and predicted another emphatic knockout if the pair finally share a ring.<\/p>\n
Promoter Frank Warren has maintained that Fury signed his contract in January and is already training in Miami for an early-November return.<\/p>\n
“AJ hasn’t signed yet,” Warren said. “Tyson signed in January. He’s training in Miami for the fight in early November and doesn’t care where it takes place.”<\/p>\n
Netflix is reportedly keen on Madison Square Garden because of the commercial value of staging the contest in the United States.<\/p>\n

Wembley, however, remains in contention if organisers can secure a sufficiently late curfew to accommodate the American television market.<\/p>\n
London mayor Sadiq Khan has expressed a willingness to help find a solution, but time is becoming a major factor.<\/p>\n
Joshua would ideally require a nine or 10-week camp for a contest of this magnitude. Warren previously warned that the deal could collapse unless the two-time world champion committed quickly.<\/p>\n
