Carl Froch has considered the mindset of Daniel Dubois<\/a> and predicted whether it will be repeat or revenge when he rematches Fabio Wardley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two hard-hitting heavyweights squared off in May, with \u2018Dynamite\u2019 scoring an 11th-round stoppage<\/a> to dethrone Wardley and become a two-time world champion.<\/p>\n

He only succeeded in doing so after surviving too early knockdowns, however, as Wardley floored his man within the first 10 seconds of their contest.<\/p>\n

Dubois was then forced to climb off the canvas again in round three, before establishing his jab and landing repeated right hands on the remarkably robust chin of his opponent.<\/p>\n

As a result, the Londoner claimed Wardley\u2019s WBO title after losing his IBF strap via a fifth-round stoppage defeat to Oleksandr Usyk<\/a> in July 2025.<\/p>\n

Coming off such a one-sided beating, it was difficult to tell whether Dubois had the confidence to emerge victorious in a 50\/50 encounter with Wardley.<\/p>\n

That he did so in such spectacular fashion, though, suggests that the 28-year-old is firing on all cylinders ahead of his rematch with the Ipswich man.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his YouTube channel<\/a>, Hall of Famer Froch highlighted this self-belief as one of his reasons for favouring Dubois in their second encounter.<\/p>\n

\u201cDaniel Dubois climbed off the canvas and just kept drilling that right hand. He\u2019s got a good jab; he\u2019s got a nice, strong, solid backhand as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cFabio Wardley is too brave for his own good \u2013 he would not go over. His face was all battered; I think his nose got smashed to bits.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut this is a great fight \u2013 the rematch is going to be so good. I just think Daniel Dubois is probably too polished. He\u2019s got that experience, hasn\u2019t he? And he believes in himself now. Ultimately, I think Daniel Dubois will be too much [for Wardley].\u201d<\/p>\n
