{"id":764292,"date":"2026-09-08T20:16:14","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T20:16:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/764292\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T20:16:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T20:16:14","slug":"european-game-developers-are-more-concerned-that-ai-will-pressure-them-to-work-faster-rather-than-take-their-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/764292\/","title":{"rendered":"European game developers are more concerned that AI will pressure them to work faster rather than take their job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>61% of European game developers are concerned that generative AI will place them under pressure to work faster and produce more, but only 35% think that AI might cause them to lose their job or reduce demand for their role.<\/p>\n<p>These findings are based on the report <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1X-tnE5-9xZyZmBaStwLqzQH3-1uQ__uj\/view\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> &#8216;Talent Signals Reshaping the Games Industry&#8217;<\/a> by Values Value founder and InGame Job co-founder Tanja Loktionova.<\/p>\n<p>The report draws on data from the 10th Big Games Industry Employment Survey. A <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1yLeCYbSUqdmsvTBhOGJzJBM-GrZFJ3p9\/view\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> condensed preliminary report is available here<\/a>, with the full report set to be published in November 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Just over half of respondents are concerned that generative AI could reduce work quality, and 46% believe AI makes it harder to assess actual skills.<\/p>\n<p>However, less than a third (29%) had ethical concerns about AI, while 12% reported no concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The report found that AI has changed how 78% of respondents work. Of these, 33% experienced significant change and 45% some change.
