Spiritbox<\/a> have shared their anthemic new single \u2018Mourning\u2019 \u2013 their first since the release of the band\u2019s second studio album \u2018Tsunami Sea<\/a>\u2019 last year.<\/p>\n

The track, which you can listen to below, is a more subdued but melodic than their previous material with fiery guitar riffs throughout.<\/p>\n

It comes after frontwoman Courtney LaPlante, Bring Me The Horizon<\/a> vocalist Oli Sykes<\/a>, and producer Grabbitz recently teamed up to create a new Valorant<\/a> anthem.<\/p>\n

\u2018If The Sun Burns Out Tonight<\/a>\u2019 will be released later this year to coincide with the Valorant Champions Shanghai 2026 Finals, which brings together the world\u2019s top 16 teams and will take place between September 24 and October 18.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Spiritbox\u2019s last album received a four-star review<\/a> from NME which hailed the record as \u201cawe-inspiring modern metal\u201d and praised the group for \u201ccontinuing to push the boundaries of what metalcore can be\u201d.<\/p>\n

It added: \u201cA swaggering display of confidence by a band in total command of their craft, \u2018Tsunami Sea\u2019 is solid-as-granite proof that heavy music retains its vitality and relevancy in 2025. The punishing elegance of Spiritbox\u2019s new album will punch a hole through your chest and wrap its aqueous arms around your heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spiritbox recently performed \u2018Soft Spine\u2019 from the record at the 2026 Grammys<\/a>, where they were nominated for Best Metal Performance for the third time.<\/p>\n

Later this week they will embark on their biggest UK headline tour to date<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That run will begin at Glasgow\u2019s SEC on September 12 and also visit Nottingham, Manchester and Cardiff, before concluding at London\u2019s OVO Arena Wembley on September 19. Find any remaining tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
