\n The Chimes, a later-living housing scheme in Bingley, West Yorkshire, has teamed up with Jim\u2019s Gym to offer tailored wellbeing and exercise support through Anchor\u2019s Be Well 360 programme.\n<\/p>\n
\n Anchor describes this as a holistic approach to healthy living, providing older adults with tools to maintain mobility, improve sleep, make social connections and pursue creative interests.\n<\/p>\n
\n Brett Jenkins, wellbeing development manager at Anchor, said: “Supporting residents to stay active is fundamental to overall wellbeing.\n<\/p>\n
\n “In later life, regular movement plays an important role in maintaining confidence, independence and social connection.\n<\/p>\n
\n “What stood out about Jim\u2019s Gym was how accessible and engaging it is.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The platform makes movement feel achievable and enjoyable, while offering flexibility for residents who prefer to take part from home.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We\u2019re looking forward to seeing the difference it makes, both physically and socially, as part of our Be Well 360 service.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Jim\u2019s Gym, founded by personal trainer James Hilton, delivers more than 15 live classes each week as well as a wider library of on-demand sessions.\n<\/p>\n
\n The programme covers strength and balance training, yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Zumba, Dancercise and cardio workouts, with both seated and standing formats to suit all abilities.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Hilton said: “Exercise isn\u2019t just for young people.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It\u2019s crucial to stay active throughout your whole life, which is why I founded Jim\u2019s Gym.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It means the world to have an organisation of Anchor\u2019s scale and reputation incorporate the platform into its Be Well 360 service.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Through the partnership, we\u2019ll reach hundreds of people aged over 55 with inclusive fitness support designed to build confidence and community.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Residents will also have access to nutrition support and Fitness MOT assessments to support their overall health.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Chimes offers one and two-bedroom apartments for rent and through Anchor\u2019s shared ownership scheme, aimed at helping people aged 55 and over who may not be able to buy a home outright.\n<\/p>\n
