Line of Duty’s Adrian Dunbar returns as an ex-cop-turned-police consultant in season two<\/a> of Ridley, now trending on ITVX.<\/p>\n

Dunbar, who played the role of Superintendent Ted Hastings in Line of Duty, portrays a member of the police force again with Alex Ridley – a retired detective with a traumatic past. <\/p>\n

The titular character is lured out of early retirement and back into police work by his former prot\u00e9g\u00e9e, DI Carol Farman (Bronagh Waugh).<\/p>\n

Currently in Prime Video’s third place for both TV shows and overall in the UK, Butterfly also stars Piper Perabo as Juno, Reina Hardesty as David’s daughter Rebecca, Kim Tae-hee as Eunju Kim, and Louis Landau as Oliver Barnes. <\/p>\n
