Katie Price<\/a>\u2019s ex-husband of one year Alex Reid<\/a> is speaking out against the former glamour model in an incredibly dramatic fashion days after Peter Andre<\/a> did the same. <\/p>\n The mum-of-five, 47, started dating Alex hot off the heels from her split with Mysterious Girl hitmaker Peter, and they tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2010. <\/p>\n However, after just a year of marriage Alex and Katie called it quits. <\/p>\n After Peter posted a shock statement<\/a> on social media<\/a> days ago accusing Katie of peddling lies for 16 years, Alex is taking a similar step and has announced he is \u2018spearheading a campaign\u2019 against her. <\/p>\n \u2018Over the years you\u2019ve seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter Andre, Kieran Hayler, and others,\u2019 he said in a video posted on social media this evening. <\/p>\n \u2018I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn\u2019t about gossip, it\u2019s about evidence. It isn\u2019t about rumour, it\u2019s about reality.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018After years of silence the time has finally come to reveal all. This is bigger than one person. It\u2019s about honesty, accountability, and supporting those that have been silenced. <\/p>\n \u2018The time for speculation is over. The truth will now be seen and heard.\u2019 <\/p>\n Alex also shared a video of Katie counting wads of cash, which according to the Daily Mail<\/a> is believed to have been filmed in 2020. She was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again last year after an unpaid tax bill. She\u2019s since been discharged of both. <\/p>\n There\u2019s no suggestion Katie did not declare this money, but in the video she brags about how much cash she\u2019s counting and explains she\u2019s \u2018sorting it out\u2019.<\/p>\n A representative for Katie told Metro: \u2018This is a video that was shared with Katie\u2019s Trustee in Bankruptcy several months ago and Katie has fully complied with the Trustee\u2019s investigations into the same.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018The cash featured did not belong to Katie.\u2019 <\/p>\n \t\t A source close to Peter told the outlet: \u2018Peter has seen the video and is totally disgusted, even more so because his young daughter has been involved in it.\u2019<\/p>\n His representatives said: \u2018Peter will be dealing with this with his lawyers.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n This comes after a report yesterday<\/a> that Katie is planning on releasing a three-part personal documentary to coincide with the 30-year anniversary of her becoming one of The Sun\u2019s page 3 models. <\/p>\n A source told The Mirror that Alex and Kieran Hayler \u2013 who was with Katie from 2013 to March 2021 \u2013 are teaming up with lawyers to block her from featuring them on the show. <\/p>\n \t\t A source told\u00a0The Mirror<\/a>: \u2018They feel like they have been backed into a corner and have no choice.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018They just want her to stop trashing them, and can\u2019t believe she is being given a platform.\u2019<\/p>\n Another source, close to Kieran, said that \u2018enough is enough\u2019 and the men are just looking to move on with their lives but \u2018can\u2019t trust anything\u2019 that Katie says.<\/p>\n A spokesman for Kieran added: \u2018We are keeping all our options open. I can confirm Alex Reid is on the same page.\u2019<\/p>\n The outlet reported that they have been in contact via an intermediary over the documentary, which is being made by Louis Theroux\u2019s production company Mindhouse.<\/p>\n It\u2019s due to be aired by Sky but lawyers for the pair are said to be urging the broadcaster to reconsider.<\/p>\n Last week Kieran \u2013 who is dad to Katie\u2019s youngest kids Bunny, 11, and Jett, 12 \u2013 issued a public apology to Princess after she admitted<\/a>: \u2018I wish I could have had a happier childhood.\u2019 <\/p>\n Meanwhile, days ago Peter spoke out on Instagram with a cutting statement about his ex-wife Katie, who he met on I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out Of Here in 2004. <\/p>\n \u2018For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today,\u2019 Peter said. <\/p>\n He continued: \u2018The latest comments about my children\u2019s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \u2018For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.<\/p>\n \u2018In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.<\/p>\n \u2018In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.<\/p>\n \u2018Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address.
