The strong week for the sector was largely a one-startup story. <a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/ultrahuman-bags-70-mn-to-build-an-integrated-healthtech-platform\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ultrahuman\u2019s $70 Mn round<\/a> made up 94% of the sector\u2019s total funding.<br \/>\nCleantech trailed healthtech with five startups raising $46.3 Mn this week. <a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/yuma-energy-bags-35-mn-to-expand-its-battery-swapping-network\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yuma Energy\u2019s $35 Mn fundraise<\/a> provided the biggest boost, accounting for a substantial chunk of the sector\u2019s haul.<br \/>\nBeyond the top two sectors, advanced hardware and technology and ecommerce segments saw four funding deals materialise apiece.<br \/>\nEarly-stage funding remained active, with six startups collectively raising around $12 Mn across seed, pre-seed and pre-Series A rounds. The week also saw three startups raise undisclosed amounts in equity.<br \/>\nOn the investor front, Equentis and Info Edge Ventures were the week\u2019s most active backers, participating in two startup deals each.<\/p>\n<p>Startup M&amp;As This Week<\/p>\n<p>upGrad completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/from-3-5-bn-to-200-mn-upgrad-completes-unacademy-acquisition\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">acquisition of Unacademy<\/a> for just over $200 Mn, marking a more than 90% drop from its $3.5 Bn peak valuation in 2021.<br \/>\nAdobe <a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/adobe-acquires-peak-xv-backed-ai-martech-startup-rilo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">acquired Peak XV Partners\u2019 backed startup Rilo<\/a>, backed by Peak XV Partners, for an undisclosed amount. It is Adobe\u2019s second Indian startup acquisition after Rephrase.ai in 2023.<br \/>\nNiyo agreed to acquire Capital India Finance\u2019s RemitX business for \u20b911.4 Cr, expanding its forex and cross-border payments play.<br \/>\nTruemeds is said to be eyeing the<a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/truemeds-eyes-dealshare-acquisition-at-90-mn-95-below-peak-valuation-report\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> buy out of ecommerce unicorn DealShare<\/a> via a share-swap deal that could value it at over $90 Mn, far below its $1.7 Bn peak valuation.<\/p>\n<p>Startup IPO Developments This Week<\/p>\n<p>After an<a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/esds-ipo-subscribed-42-7x-on-day-3-nii-portion-booked-126x\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> overwhelming investor response to its IPO<\/a>, AI cloud provider ESDS Software Solution made a strong public market debut, listing at an over 75% premium on the bourses. The stock closed at \u20b9908.4, gaining 111.7% on its first trading day.<br \/>\nAfter ESDS, <a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/ai-infra-provider-yotta-eyes-1-5-bn-ipo-by-march-2027-report\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yotta Data Services is also planning to go public<\/a>. The company is likely to file its draft papers with SEBI by October, eyeing the raise of up to $1.5 Bn via its IPO.<br \/>\nPernia\u2019s Pop-Up Shop\u2019s parent Purple Labs \u20b9680 Cr IPO was <a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/pernias-pop-up-shop-parent-ipo-subscribed-37-on-final-bidding-day\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">oversubscribed by 1.29X<\/a> on the final day, with retail investors leading demand at 1.57X.
