This means users with compatible iPhone models dating back to 2022\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/compare.php3?idPhone1=11861&amp;idPhone2=11860&amp;idPhone3=11773\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 14 series<\/a> will be able to enjoy Emergency SOS via satellite, Messages via satellite, Find My via satellite, and Roadside Assistance via satellite free of charge for at least one more year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1789180223_520_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"Apple extends free satellite features for older iPhones\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The only requirement is that the devices need to be activated before September 9, 2026. This development marks the third time that Cupertino is extending free satellite access for the iPhone 14 series. Similarly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/res.php3?sSearch=iPhone+15\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 15 series<\/a> devices got their first extension last year following the iPhone 17 series\u2019 debut.
