Hoping to follow in his familial footsteps, Tommy Fury has no qualms about laying out his intentions to win a world championship inside the ring.<\/p>\n

Snapping a two-year stay away from the ring earlier this year, former Love Island star Tommy Fury<\/a> turned in career win number eleven, retaining his unbeaten record, to boot.<\/p>\n

And landing a decision win over Hungarian opponent Kenan Hanjalic, Fury improved to 11-0 as recently as May of this year, adding to some notable victories recently.<\/p>\n

Landing eye-catching wins over social media stars KSI, as well as Jake Paul<\/a> \u2014 who is gearing up for a fight with Anthony Joshua<\/a> \u2014 Fury certainly isn\u2019t focused on too many gimmick fights later on in his career.<\/p>\n

A natural cruiserweight and light heavyweight boxer, Fury, of course, the half-brother<\/a> of former undisputed WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury<\/a>, is still relatively early in his professional career.<\/p>\n

But before too long, the 26-year-old has outlined his plans to win a world championship in the squared circle \u2014 without rushing into the fold in either division.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, I\u2019m a realistic man, you can\u2019t just click your fingers and be a world champion,\u201d Fury told SportBible<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m expecting to have 25 plus fights before I fight for a world title.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t just want to fight for a world title; I want to fight for one and win it,\u201d Fury continued. \u201cAnd that\u2019s definitely something I believe I can do because I know what I can do in the gym, and I know the people that I have sparred and mixed with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tommy Fury plays up rematch with Jake Paul<\/p>\n

Handing the polarizing Paul a split decision loss in their 2023 showdown in Riyadh, Fury inflicted the controversial star\u2019s first and so-far-only professional loss in the ring.<\/p>\n

And in the two years since, speculation has been rife regarding a potential re-run between the duo.<\/p>\n

As far as Fury is concerned, if Paul ever wants the chance to attempt to avenge that defeat, he knows where to find him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m here, I\u2019m ready, but I\u2019m not begging for a fight. I\u2019ve done my job, I\u2019ve beaten him. I\u2019ve got the win, he\u2019s got the loss.<\/p>\n
