10 new games are being added across PS Plus Extra<\/a> and PS Plus Premium<\/a> this month, but compared to August’s super strong offering<\/a>, I can see September’s lineup being met with some criticism.<\/p>\n

Honestly I’m not quite sure what the headline act is for Extra this time around. Co-op survival RPG RuneScape: Dragonwilds<\/a> launches straight onto the subscription service \u2014 and it’s highly rated on PC \u2014 but I can’t see it appealing to everyone.<\/p>\n

It’s followed by WWE 2K26<\/a> (hope you like wrestling!), the dangerously addictive Ball X Pit<\/a>, and crazy romance-’em-up Date Everything<\/a>. An interesting mix of genres at the very least.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound<\/a> is a certified side scrolling banger, and Slitterhead<\/a> is weird \u2014 but in a good way, if you can look past the jank.<\/p>\n

You also can’t really go wrong with Sniper Elite: Resistance<\/a>, the latest effort in Rebellion’s eternally solid shooter series, and Dungeons of Hinterberg<\/a> is an enjoyably chill indie adventure.<\/p>\n

So while I wouldn’t say there are any stinkers in September’s selection, I do think it’s lacking star power \u2014 and that might be enough to sway opinions in this poll.<\/p>\n

As for PS Plus Premium, Mega Man X: Command Mission<\/a> is a turn-based excursion that can definitely scratch a certain nostalgic itch, and Metro Redux<\/a> is well worth checking out if you’re yet to sample the post-apocalyptic Metro franchise.<\/p>\n
