We welcome the new season with the end of the Mega Squads event, celebrate Pok\u00e9mon Horizons with a new event, and Super Mega Staraptor Raid Day. Plus the weekly rotating Raid Hours, Spotlight Hour, Dynamax Battles and Mega Raids.<\/p>\n

The event introduces\u00a0Maschiff and Mabosstiff to Pok\u00e9mon GO, alongside the debut of\u00a0Shiny Flamigo. Mega Beedrill and Mega Houndoom can also reach the new\u00a0Super Max Mega Level, unlocking powerful additional Charged Attacks while Mega Evolved.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event<\/a>\u00a0celebrates season 3 of the TV series Pok\u00e9mon Horizons: Rising Hope releasing in the USA and UK, taking place from\u00a0Wednesday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. You can watch in the USA on Netflix, and in the UK on BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n

The event introduces\u00a0Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard wearing Friede\u2019s goggles to Pok\u00e9mon GO, as well as an increased chance to encounter\u00a0Kecleon\u00a0at Pok\u00e9stops. Pikachu with Cap\u2019s Hat also returns, and there are rotating timed spawns.<\/p>\n

Super Mega Staraptor Raid Day<\/p>\n

You can look forward to Mega Staraptor in Super Mega Raids, with the potential to be shiny\u00a0(with boosted odds of 1 in 10 encounters), and up to five additional free raid passes for the day.<\/p>\n
