A one-bedroom bungalow has gone up for auction for \u00a3150,000 – but pictures inside have sparked alarm, with people joking about its supposed sinister interior.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Auction House London<\/a>\u00a0is putting the run-down red-bricked home on Meadow Way, Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire, under the hammer next month.<\/p>\n

From the outside, the dishevelled property looks in need of attention with an overgrown garden, unkempt patio and shoddy wooden fence.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And inside, the home appears even more run down than its exterior.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Upon entering the house, prospective buyers are greeted with a red carpet – but it is by no means glamorous and instead leads into a dingy living room with black stained walls and exposed wiring.<\/p>\n

The kitchen also appears to be in a state of disrepair, with marks on the ceiling, cupboard doors off their hinges and debris scattered on the counter top.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But the feature that caused the most concern was the house’s bathroom, which commenters joked resembles a murder scene given its bloody looking interior.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Red stains left on the walls and tiles of the room had led some to ridiculously quip that it could be blood, before the estate agent confirmed it was merely red paint.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The feature that might make buyers want to think twice appears in pictures of the bathroom, which people joked resembles the scene of a horror film<\/p>\n

One user on Reddit wrote: ‘Houses selling so quickly they don’t have time to clean up the blood, smh.’<\/p>\n

‘Looks like the bathroom from Scarface , surprised they didn\u2019t put a chainsaw in there,’ a second said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But some more realistic people said the mysterious substance was more likely to be red hair dye than anything sinister.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I’ve never seen anyone make a mess like that with hair dye. Definitely looks like dye though,’ a third person wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another added: ‘I can speak from experiences with hair dye…thats hair dye!’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Auction House London said the property is located on a residential road close to local shops and amenities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘The open spaces of The Coppice Park are within easy reach. Transport links are provided by Aylesbury rail station and the A41,’ the listing adds.<\/p>\n

The company said the property ‘benefits from a garden and off street parking’, while there is also potential for an extension ‘subject to obtaining all relevant consents’.<\/p>\n

The house will go under the hammer at a public auction at 9:30am on September 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Mail has contacted Auction House London and Thames Valley Police for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
