However, Gomez resumed training alongside his teammates last week and is on course to feature in the third-round clash with Spurs at Anfield.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is training with the team,\u201d head coach Andoni Iraola said on Monday.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think he\u2019s going to be available for tomorrow and now it\u2019s a matter of deciding how much he can play and what is the best thing to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Iraola was asked for an update on Conor Bradley\u2019s rehabilitation from a long-term knee injury too.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think he is not close to training with the team,\u201d said the boss. \u201cHe\u2019s training alone but he has started touching the ball.<\/p>\n
