In South Africa in 1895-96, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cricinfo.com\/cricketers\/george-lohmann-16337\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">George Lohmann<\/a> took 35 wickets at just 5.8, while in England in 1958 Tony Lock piled up 34 wickets at 7.47 against a very weak New Zealand team.
