\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Sam Worthington<\/a> (Avatar), Liam Hemsworth<\/a> (The Hunger Games), and Cara Delevingne<\/a> (Club Kid) are set to play the lead love triangle in Paul Schrader<\/a>\u2018s upcoming erotic thriller Non Compos Mentis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tProduction is due to get underway next month in New York on the movie, which Oscar nominee Schrader has written and will direct. Additional cast is being finalized.<\/p>\n

\n\tNon Compos Mentis (latin for \u2018of unsound mind\u2019) \u201ccenters on two privileged brothers confronting their mother\u2019s decline into dementia: one a polished New York defense attorney, the other a hard-edged corporate heir. Their uneasy dynamic fractures when the attorney embarks on a consuming affair with a younger woman, igniting a volatile love triangle that unleashes obsession, betrayal, and a ruthless battle for control of the family fortune\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n\tWe first told you about the project at the start of the year when it had a largely different cast, including Caleb Landry Jones, Sarah Pidgeon and Dianne Wiest.<\/p>\n

\n\tPic is being produced by David Gonzales (Master Gardener), Schrader\u2019s manager and producing partner. Executive producer is Nadine de Barros of Fortitude International, which is overseeing international sales. <\/p>\n

\n\tJames M. Vernon of MFM (Hacksaw Ridge) is executive-producing along with Joseph Panebianco and Jina Panebianco of Cardinal North Entertainment. Carissa Knol, Tiffany Boyle, Alex Sagalchik, Stef Dillon, Aimee Schoof, and Isen Robbins also executive-produce.<\/p>\n

\n\tFortitude has pre-sold the film to Germany (Weltkino), Italy (Eagle Pictures) and the CIS territory (Capella).<\/p>\n

\n\tScreen vet Schrader, nominated for an Oscar for A24\u2019s First Reformed and well known for his collaborations with Martin Scorsese on classics like Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, is coming off Venice Competition drama The Basics Of Philosophy. It was another instalment in his \u201cman in a room\u201d movies, also including First Reformed, Focus Features\u2019 The Card Counter and Magnolia\u2019s Master Gardener. <\/p>\n

\n\tGonzales and Schrader most recently made Cannes 2024 drama Oh, Canada, starring Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, and Jacob Elordi.<\/p>\n

\n\tDelevingne is coming off raved about Cannes drama Club Kid, Worthington returned for the blockbuster Avatar franchise and Hemsworth last year had Netflix\u2019s The Witcher.<\/p>\n

\n\tHemsworth is represented by Range Media Partners. Worthington is represented by WME and Anonymous Content.
