Lena\u00a0Dunham and her husband, Luis Felber, have welcomed a child via a surrogate.<\/p>\n
The couple, who have been married since September 2021<\/a>, are now the proud parents of a baby girl, the actress revealed in a Wednesday op-ed in Vogue<\/a>.<\/p>\n We hear the couple are currently in the States and will soon head back to their home in North London, where Felber is from.<\/p>\n Lena Dunham (seen here) and her husband, Luis Felber, welcomed her first child via surrogate.<\/p>\n The couple (pictured here) confirmed they welcomed a baby girl to Vogue on Wednesday. lenadunham\/Instagram<\/p>\n In her piece, Dunham, 40, gave an inside look at the timeline, noting that the embryo transfer happened in November before diving into her relationship with her surrogate.<\/p>\n \u201cThe feelings I thought would be there somehow weren\u2019t: namely jealousy, that this woman could do for a child \u2014 for my child \u2014 what I could not,\u201d she wrote. \u201cCarry her safely in her body, use her form to feed and house her, regulate the baby\u2019s ever-evolving nervous system with steadiness, heart, and breath.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cInstead,\u201d she added, \u201cI felt a different kind of jealousy \u2014 toward said baby, for the chance to be tucked into someone who radiated such safety.
