Original article, September 17, 2026 (12:42 PM ET):\u00a0If you rely on Microsoft Copilot, you may run into some difficulties trying to use it today. Microsoft has confirmed that its AI assistant is having issues at the moment.<\/p>\n

According to the Microsoft status page<\/a>, Copilot is currently experiencing service degradation. As a result, users are receiving error messages instead of responses to their queries. Specifically, you may see a message that reads \u201cI\u2019m sorry, I\u2019m having trouble responding to requests right now. Let\u2019s try this again in a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company is investigating the problem right now. \u201cWe\u2019ve identified requests to a specific API endpoint are experiencing issues,\u201d Microsoft states. \u201cWe\u2019re reviewing diagnostics to identify why this is happening and to determine the next steps.\u201d<\/p>\n
