The West course at Wentworth\u2019s tight fairways, narrow landing areas and water hazards annually trip up star players during the DP World Tour\u2019s flagship event. And it so it proved during the 2026 edition of the Rolex Series tournament, which has a mammoth prize purse<\/a>.<\/p>\n Patrick Reed, the Race to Dubai leader, was forced to withdraw<\/a> with a wrist injury after a horrendous start to his second round at the famous Surrey venue. <\/p>\n These are the other Friday casualties from the BMW PGA Championship\u2026<\/p>\n Big names who missed the cut at the BMW PGA Championship<\/p>\n Brooks Koepka (+1)<\/p>\n Koepka is spending hours on the practice ground with his coach Pete Cowen trying to find the secret in the dirt. But his trip over Europe has so far been fruitless, with this missed cut following a T55 at the Amgen Irish Open last week.<\/p>\n Tommy Fleetwood (+3) <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a great course and I always look forward to playing it,\u201d Fleetwood said in his pre-tournament press conference on Wednesday, \u201cbut all hasn\u2019t always gone my way so far.\u201d Fleetwood says his \u201cexecution has not been as good as my visualisation\u201d on the West course and the same problems appeared with rounds of 73 and 74.<\/p>\n Nicolai Hojgaard (+8)<\/p>\n A week to forget for the Hojgaard twins. Rasmus withdrew during the opening round of the inaugural Biltmore Championship<\/a> on the PGA Tour.
