<\/p>\nJeremy Clarkson is looking ahead to a landmark auction of three iconic classic cars used in his hit TV show The Grand Tour.<\/p>\n
Three of Jeremy Clarkson’s historic vehicles will be offered directly from his personal collection at Iconic Auctioneers’ Iconic Sale.<\/p>\n
The auction will take place at the NEC Classic Motor Show Sale and will feature the Lancia Montecarlo Spider, Alfa Romeo GTV6 and Lincoln Continental Mark V.<\/p>\n
The 1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider was the very last car he drove on The Grand Tour, giving it significant sentimental value for the TV legend.<\/p>\n
Jeremy Clarkson chose the Lancia Montecarlo Spider in Lotus Blue to be his final choice in the Grand Tour: One for the Road.<\/p>\n
It was also the final episode with Richard Hammond and James May as hosts, as the iconic trio trekked across Zimbabwe and into Botswana.<\/p>\n
The Grand Tour: One for the Road saw Mr Clarkson reunite with the Lancia Beta Coup\u00e9 he used in the 2007 Botswana special episode of Top Gear.<\/p>\n
Anyone lucky enough to get their hands on the Lancia at auction will have a fully functioning and well-running car following a “tidy” from Max500 Ltd.<\/p>\n

It has also received several modifications as part of The Grand Tour filming, including Ferrari 308 rear lights and quad tailpipes.<\/p>\n
Mr Clarkson said he has decided to part with the iconic classic cars, but hinted that the reason will become clear in the next season of Clarkson’s Farm.<\/p>\n
He added: “I rarely get a chance these days to drive or enjoy these very special and quite famous cars so it’s probably for the best if they end up with someone who can.”<\/p>\n
A 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6 will also go under the hammer, having appeared alongside Jeremy Clarkson in Well Aged Scotch seven years ago.<\/p>\n

After its use around Scotland’s North Coast 500, Mr Clarkson kept the car, although the Alfa Romeo has just 28,315 miles on the clock.<\/p>\n
The third vehicle being sold is a slick sky-blue 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V from The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown.<\/p>\n
Its 6.6-litre engine was modified with a nitrous injection, and it also features a set of bagpipes in the boot and a Cartier clock.<\/p>\n
Harry Whale, car specialist at Iconic Auctioneers, said: “These cars have a connection with Jeremy Clarkson that goes well beyond simply appearing on television. He chose each of them for The Grand Tour, then liked them enough to keep them afterwards. <\/p>\n
