\n The free Get Back in the Saddle sessions are being held at Redlands Leisure and Community Park on Dorchester Road and are designed for anyone looking to return to cycling after time away from the saddle.\n<\/p>\n
\n Led by trained volunteers, the rides offer a supportive and relaxed environment where participants can build confidence, improve fitness and meet new people.\n<\/p>\n
\n The one-hour sessions take place every Wednesday from 10am to 11am and are open to adults of all abilities.\n<\/p>\n
\n Organisers say the rides are ideal for those who may not have cycled for years, are nervous about getting back on a bike or simply want to enjoy gentle exercise in the company of others.\n<\/p>\n
\n Bikes can be provided for people who do not have their own, helping remove barriers to taking part.\n<\/p>\n
\n The sessions are based at Redlands Leisure and Community Park, which offers a safe and accessible location for riders to develop their skills and confidence.\n<\/p>\n
\n As well as the physical benefits of cycling, the programme aims to help tackle social isolation by giving participants the opportunity to connect with others in the community.\n<\/p>\n
\n Attendance is free, although people are asked to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) before taking part.\n<\/p>\n
