Piers Riley-Smith, representing Somani Hotels which owns the Bell Hotel, argued that an injunction would cause the owners \u201cfinancial harm\u201d because the migrants were a \u201cfinancial lifeline\u201d that had allowed \u201cmoney to be reinvested in the hotel\u201d.<\/p>\n
Mr Riley-Smith told the court: \u201cIt is not [Somani Hotels\u2019] submission to suggest that local communities\u2019 concerns are not genuine. But it is clear that recent protests have expanded far beyond the local community and have gone into concerns about wider ideological, or political issues, by those from outside the community\u201d.<\/p>\n
