It&#8217;s reportedly scheduled for January 2027. Offline local split-screen play is also included.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some additional PR about this upcoming release:<\/p>\n<p>A striking revival of DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 and DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends combined into one, with modern graphics and even more thrilling action.<\/p>\n<p>Play as more than 40 different officers in the world of the Three Kingdoms, taking on thrilling and tactical battles of 1 vs. 1,000 across vast battlefields. \u201cDYNASTY WARRIORS 3\u201d was the first game in the \u201cDYNASTY WARRIORS\u201d series to feature mechanics that would become a mainstay for the series, such as True Musou Attacks, two-player simultaneous play, and the officer development system. It was also the first game in the series to sell more than one million copies.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cDYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends\u201d expansion featured new stories for seven officers, including Lu Bu, Meng Huo, and Yuan Shao, as well as bodyguard customization, new weapons, and four types of challenge modes, providing even more gameplay to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>This news follows an update from Koei Tecmo in June, announcing it was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2026\/06\/dynasty-warriors-3-remaster-gets-switch-2-release-date-switch-version-cancelled\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">cancelling the original Switch version<\/a> of the title.<\/p>\n<p>Would you be interested in this demo?
